3. Why should I book a Bohemian Boudoir shoot with Anne & Andy?

We just love textures. We have several Bohemian style "scenes". We have lots of accessories, but we don't mind at all if you want to bring any jewelry or personal items such as hats, scarves, lingerie... this can personalizes your photography session and makes you look and feel great.

4. Do you supply any props?

If sexy were a statement "Bohemian Boudoir" is the exclamation point!
- Bohemian is fun - Bohemian is free spirited.
- Bohemian is a Boho Chic fashion statement.
- Bohemian is aesthetically eccentric.
- Bohemian is sexy and artistically tantalizing. We love everything about Bohemian Boudoir.
Bohemian Boudoir is colorfully sexy. Will your statement be quietly bold or wonderfully expressive?

We are Anne & Andy, a husband and wife team.
Andy holds the camera while Anne helps pose and takes care of any needs that you may have.

In your consultation and shoot design session we discuss how you would like to be photographed and what outfits you need to bring. We do have accessories and some fun pieces in our studio for clients to wear. Wear whatever you feel beautiful in: a crop top and jeans, swim wear, a robe and lingerie. We will often use items from our closet such as jewelry, fabrics, throws, hats and more to add to what you bring. Creating amazing looks is our thing.

5. What will I wear for my Boudoir photography session?

The little details go a long way in creating amazing images. Having a manicure and fresh nails with polish can greatly improve your look. We highly recommend the use of moisturizer for your skin. Wear loose fitting comfy clothes when you come in to our studio so that there are no wear lines from your undergarments. Skip the bra, skip the socks, skip the watch, and forget that belt, those tight jeans, and anything else which could leave an impression in your skin. It may seem like a small thing, but these lines can dampen the look of a great negligée. Besides, you want to relax and feel comfortable, and tight clothes are only going to restrict you.

6. How do I prepare for a boudoir photo shoot?

Yes! We want you to enjoy your makeover experience with us. Our professional makeup artist is amazing.

7. Is makeup included?

Anywhere between 2-3 hours, depending on what you bring. We will not put limits on you.

8. How long will my Boudoir Session last?

Your privacy is important. We understand that doing a boudoir session totally gets you out of your comfort zone. The only people present will be Anne and Andy during the shoot and our hair and makeup artist before the shoot.

9. Who will be present for my Boudoir Session?

It's not your job to know how to move in front of the camera. Anne will demonstrate and guide you through the most flattering poses for your body type. Your job is to relax and enjoy the photography and makeover experience.

10. I don’t know how to pose. Will you help me?

It is important that you do NOT spray tan. It always looks fake and it is difficult for the makeup artist to blend . Your skin wants to be hydrated and moisturized. In the morning follow your usual skin routine. Don't apply SPF cream. Hair should be clean and dry. Double shampoo your hair like your hairdresser, rinse well and condition mid length to ends. Do not wax closer than four days before as makeup doesn't adhere to freshly waxed skin.

11. How do I prepare my skin and hair?

We will ask you if you would like to be "glammed up" or if you prefer a more natural look.
You choose the style of professional makeup you would like for your shoot. Some women just ask us to do our thing.

12. I don't wear heavy makeup. will I still look like me?

At the end of your boudoir session we schedule a viewing appointment. The appointment is normally set for a time within two weeks of your shoot. The reveal session takes place back at our studio. This is where you get to choose and purchase your  photographs that you love the most.

13. When will I get to see my photos?

The short answer is, absolutely.
We want your images to reflect a more perfect version of you.
All of your finished photographs are professionally retouched. We will address those things that you feel self-conscious about and want that area taken care of in a natural way. Our aim is to capture you, in your own natural and beautiful essence and then make fine tune adjustments. We are masters of lighting and posing techniques that will play up your features and accentuate the favorite parts of yourself.

14. Do you “Photoshop” the images?

Our Boudoir retainer fee is $395 and includes professional makeup. There is no hard sell. The final cost depends on you. Most of our clients will spend between $699 - $2000 after prints and albums.

15. How much does it cost? What should I expect to spend?

We absolutely respect your privacy and will only share a photo if you grant us permission. Just let us know what you feel comfortable with after you see your images. We can show as little or as much as you like.

16. Will you use my images on your website/blog/portfolio?
